"My mother is the Rain, my father is the Sun and the Earth is my home"

I am Santiago Savi, a visual artist from the Rain Nation. I have been working in my art studio in Mexico City since 2015. In my paintings and murals I like to capture Mother Earth, the cornfield, flowers, animals, nahuales and textiles.

My art is a way of expressing and capturing the Ñuu Savi tradition inherited from my parents and grandparents from the rain village.
